Live Music

“May the sound of happy music, and the lilt of Irish laughter, fill your heart with gladness, that stays forever after.” This Irish toast is close to our hearts so we stay true to its moral by ensuring that we have great live music more often than not.

Ruckus Deluxe not only performs their own contemporary country material but specializes in innovative versions of current and classic covers, including traditional fiddle tunes, hard rock classics, 80’s pop songs and Alternative favourites. Best bring extra under garments to their performance because you’ll have your socks and knickers knocked off.

  • Mike Bell | Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
    Patrick Ernst | Fiddle, Vocals
Curtis Ernst | Stand-Up Bass, Cello, Vocals

The Whiskeydicks are a group of Celtic Gypsy punk rockers who have spent the better part of a decade carving a reputation for themselves as "One Hell of a Good Time". The Whiskeydicks use fiery celtic-gypsy fiddle licks, cello played like a bass, bombastic trumpet, vivacious drum beats, energetic guitar strumming, and voice to tell stories of good times past and to play songs people know but in a way they’d never imagine.

  • Tim Hewitt | Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Electronics
Spring Burke | Violen, Fiddle, Vocals
    teamhewitt.ca

Team Hewitt is not your average duo. Although the instruments are acoustic, the sound is more than you expect from just two performers. With the use of ‘live looping’ technology, a full band sound is created and all your favourite songs come to life, just the way you remember them, but like you’ve never seen before.

  • Providing a crafty blend of fiddle, guitar & kick drum, and vocals, The Doolins are Jennie Bice and Nick Farrer.

Based in the Greater Vancouver area, but originally from London (Ontario) and London (UK), this duo bring styles from their homelands together to create a foot tapping, upbeat classic rock feel with a Celtic twist.

  • Chad Oliver

Chad has been performing and writing for over 10 years, honing his craft playing solo and group gigs across Canada. Completely “at home” on the stage, Chad has enjoyed independent success with several releases. Many of his songs have received regular radio play across the country, and national recognition in the form of standard broadcasting awards. Chad also went on the road for several years as lead vocalist for travelling Cirque Du Soleil shows Delirium and Dralion before settling for the high-flying spectacles of Whistler.

  • A one man band that will surprise and delight you – Tim’s use of looping technology makes for a solo show that you have to hear to believe. Without backing tracks, autotune or samples, Tim sounds like an entire band, all live and ‘on the fly’.
